~
Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, located in the coastal town of Antarvedi in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, is one of the most important temples in the entire region and has people thronging to it despite its a remote location, especially on pilgrimages.

As the name recommends, the temple is devoted to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, one of Lord Vishnu's manifestation. It was initially assembled Vedic Yagnas and thus it got its name - Antarvedi. It is found near stream Vashishta, which is a tributary of Godavari waterway. Near the sanctuary is the juncture of the waterway with the Bay of Bengal and the Sangam is likewise a significant point to visit, particularly for religious travelers.

Compositionally, it's a staggering temple and I really visited it twice. The primary visit was after dusk, however, I could see enough to make an arrangement to return once more. You can likewise move to the top of the temple (most temples don't permit this) thus there are considerably more open doors, particularly for photography.

It follows the well known South Indian temple architectural form, with a prominent Gopuram, courtyard, and the tall Vimana over the garbhagraha. The temple is also painted in rich colors which bring all the idols to life.
